WORKING WITH MOKSHA:
REDEFINING KRISTA’S BRAND AND WEBSITE
Establishing a compelling visual story is one of the most effective ways to establish interest in your business online. If you take your business’s image seriously, so will your prospects.
With Moksha Mental Health and Wellness, Krista wanted a really modern, soothing aesthetic. Working together I developed three different brand boards to help her really hone in on the feeling she wanted to embody online.
Design must be supported by consciously crafted marketing language. Getting clear on the goals of your site and the actions you want your viewers to take is critical for effective web design.
Krista is pivoting her business offerings and her first goal is to educate her current clients and future prospects on her new services. I kept these ‘above the fold,’ that is, viewable as soon as the page loaded to give her web viewers an immediate, easy-to-digest overview on what Krista offers. I also added sequenced animation to really draw the viewers eyes to the content I wanted them to focus on.
Logo design is complex because a logo is asked to convey a great deal of information in as simple an image as possible. More than that, a logo has to pull its weight in several different formats, from online branding to marketing collateral to social media profiles. Make sure your logo is designed with the attention and intention it deserves.
Krista wanted her brand to feel modern and classy but still approachable. Combining the organic, clean icon and sans serif tagline with fresh, fun typography nailed this goal.
Cohesion in branding across the digital and physcial marketing planes is essential. Don’t forget the little details!
As Krista was taking the first unsure steps down the path of a major business pivot, it was important for her marketing materials to do a lot of the talking for her. Well-designed business cards were a really easy way for her to open up new business conversations while networking.
